The first important investment of Prince Strozzi in Maremma, this Estate of Morellino was acquired in 1998.

Situated in the municipality of Scansano, Poggio Moreto extends completely on a splendid hill dedicated to the growing of Sangiovese and the remainder to complimentary vines, like those of Ciliegiolo, and to experimental ones like Malbec.

In 2004 the works were completed on the vinification cellar, a result of the enlargement and modification of an already existing one.
